I’m a woodworker and furniture maker based in Old Towne Orange, California.

I specialize in building things across the board from modern, mid-century, to rustic upcycled furniture across Orange County including coffee tables, benches to full furniture builds, and outdoor pieces, all designed and built by hand in small one car garage shop conversion.

Where This Started

In high school and after, I worked general construction. Mostly as a grunt doing demo and painting, with stretches of framing, drywall, and roofing along the way. It wasn’t cool and it didn’t win any points.

While in art school, I worked a draft beer systems job for a few years. Learning how to set up walk-in coolers, installing regulators, building and assembling draft towers, and running beer lines both above and below ground. It’s about as far from furniture making as a trade gets, but it taught me to think in systems: how something has to work end to end, not just look right.

By the time I picked up woodworking, I’d already spent years getting comfortable with tools, materials, and problem solving on job sites. Building things is where all of that finally had a place to land, just aimed at something I actually wanted to keep doing.

What I Build

The work covers a wide range, all built the same way — designed first, then made one board at a time:

  • Furniture — coffee tables, accent tables, desks, benches, and plant stands, often in birch plywood, reclaimed wood, or walnut and oak
  • Outdoor pieces — patio sets, garden benches, and backyard builds meant to hold up outside
  • One-off and custom pieces — built to a space, a style, or a specific idea a client brings me

Serving Orange County

The shop is in Old Towne Orange, in the heart of Orange County and that’s home base.

I also take on select custom furniture projects across Southern California, including Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire, for clients who want a piece built specifically for their space rather than picked off a showroom floor.

Custom commissions are taken on a limited, case-by-case basis; reach out and let’s talk about what you have in mind.
